Company News
Location:News-Company NewsWhat are the components of the plate heat exchanger and what are the functions of each component?
Plate heat exchanger overview:
The plate heat exchanger is a new type of high-efficiency heat exchanger which is assembled from a series of metal sheets with a certain corrugated shape.
A thin rectangular channel is formed between the various sheets, and heat is communicated through the half sheets. The plate heat exchanger is a fun device for liquid-liquid, liquid-vapor communication.
It has the characteristics of high heat exchange efficiency, small heat loss, compact and light structure, small footprint, convenient equipment cleaning, wide application and long service life.
In the case of the same pressure drop, the heat transfer coefficient is 3-5 times higher than that of the tube heat exchanger, and the floor space is one-third of the tube heat exchanger, and the heat recovery rate can be as high as 90% or more.
Components of the plate heat exchanger:
The plate heat exchanger is mainly composed of a heat transfer plate, a sealing gasket, a pressure plate at both ends, a clamping bolt, a bracket and the like.
The functions of the various components of the plate heat exchanger are as follows:
First, the heat transfer plate
The heat transfer plate is the first heat exchange element of the heat exchanger. Usually, the corrugation is made in a herringbone shape. According to the different fluid medium, the heat transfer plate is different in material, and most of them are made of stainless steel and titanium.
Second, the gasket
The gasket of the plate heat exchanger is primarily a sealing function between the heat exchange plates. Information includes: nitrile rubber, EPDM rubber, fluorine rubber, etc., according to different media, use different rubber.
Third, the two ends of the plate
The pressure plates at both ends are primarily clamped against all heat transfer plates to ensure that the fluid medium does not leak.
Fourth, the clamping bolt
The clamping bolts are primarily used to tighten the pressure plates at both ends. The clamping bolts are usually double-ended threads. When the bolts are pre-tensioned, the torque of the fixing plates is even.
Five, Rack
The first is to support the heat exchange plate to make it easy to disassemble, clean and assemble.
